Sarah Update

Today was a follow-up eye appointment for Sarah. Doctors at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis said that her eye has reached a plateau with patching meaning that it's not doing anything for her anymore. With that said, we could move forth with her eye surgery. The surgery will NOT correct her vision, but will help with the muscle issue with her eye. I HATE that she has to go through another surgery, but she is prepared. And as I said in a previous post... there's a silver lining to every cloud, sometimes you just have to look a little harder to find it. We do not have a date for surgery yet, but we know that it will be during the week of June 15th. Although we always worry, this is behind us:

And even after the news she got today... this is her outlook!

We can't tell you how much our children have taught us about life, and most importantly... Faith in God. We know that everything will be okay!
